
Ms. Wrobel is president, CEO, and co-founder of Applied Strategies, a
specialty consulting firm dedicated to bridging the life sciences
industry and global health sector. She is known for her sound counsel
and her ability to clearly frame complex situations and gain the buy-in
needed to reach quality decisions. In Applied Strategies’
groundbreaking work to model and analyze Advance Market Commitments
(AMCs) for the G8, she gained buy-in from the World Bank, GAVI, the
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Center for Global Development,
multinational and emerging vaccine suppliers, government finance
ministries, and six of the vaccine-focused public-private partnerships.
Ms. Wrobel previously served as CFO for IntraBiotics Pharmaceuticals
and was head of the Life Sciences practice at Strategic Decisions
Group. In 2007, PharmaVOICE named her as one of the 100 most inspiring
people in the industry. She holds an MBA from Stanford University with
an emphasis in decision sciences and a BS from the Colorado School of
Mines.
