Dave Lenowitz

As executive director, Dave is responsible for the development and implementation of the foundation’s strategic goals. Reporting to the board of directors, Dave is experienced in finance, management, and information technology. Prior to joining DEF, he worked in the securities industry, both on stock exchange floors and at various banks in the US and Europe. From 1996 to 2006, he held various senior-level positions at Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a global sales and trading firm, eventually becoming Chief Information Officer.
From 2006, when he retired from SIG, until assuming his current position at DEF, Dave was the proprietor of Lucky Hill Consulting, a consulting firm he founded to provide technology strategies to the financial industry. For the past three years, he has been an active member of the DEF Advisory Council, helping guide the redevelopment of the foundation’s website, as well as the initial organization and continued management of online content. He also served as a core team member and key contributor during DEF’s recent strategy review.
Dave holds a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
