The Essentials of Good Decision Making

This course is for educators, administrators, and counselors who wish to learn a framework and process for helping young people reach quality decisions. The course covers the basics of good decision making and explores how they can be applied in a variety of decision situations and taught to students. The course features:

  • A framework for defining the requirements of Decision Quality
  • A proven process for achieving Decision Quality
  • Instruction by experts in the art and science of good decision making
  • Interactive, hands-on format with breakout groups and case studies
  • Sessions tailored to the school’s or organization’s needs
  • Sample decision skills lesson plans and classroom materials.

 

When: At the convenience of the school/organization and online through the Stanford Center for Professional Development
Length
: 1 to 5 days, depending on extent of material covered and specific needs of the sponsoring organization
