The Himalayan Decision

Provides an engaging way to introduce the elements of good decision making to high school students. The video shows students on a trip to Nepal using decision skills to handle unexpected challenges. The lesson plans that accompany this video provide students with an opportunity to match their decision skills with those shown in the video, setting the stage for further instruction. Key concepts students will learn include the six elements of decision quality, the gap between typical decision behavior and quality decisions, and the difference between decisions and outcomes.
