Ron Biscardi

As a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced business builder, Ron Biscardi has established and grown a variety of technology and professional services companies. In his role as managing director and co-founder of Context Capital Partners, Ron serves as the chairman of Context BH Equity Fund, a $31 million fund that invests in startup community banks throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Context, Ron was the manager of due diligence at Edison Venture Fund, a $420 million early stage venture capital firm and a consultant to Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Earlier in his career, Ron was CEO of Katron, Inc., a technology recruiting firm that he co‐founded in 1995. Under his leadership, Katron grew to become a leading provider of outsourced technology recruiting services in the mid‐Atlantic and was awarded Wharton School’s Philly 100 status in 1999, 2000, and 2001. He also continues to serve as chairman of Xelerate, LLC, a middle market outsourcer of recruiting and human resource services that he founded in 2002. Ron holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He currently serves as secretary of several nonprofit boards, including Mastery Charter School, a DEF partner institution and nationally recognized leader in school turnarounds.
