Plus, they're facing an increasingly complex, risky, and uncertain future in which these skills will be more important than ever. Everyday teens face challenging decisions that can have a significant impact on their lives. In a world of choices, developing the skills and experience to think through decisions is essential. And yet, our schools struggle to find the time and materials to teach students the critical thinking and decision skills they need for success. The Decision Education Foundation (DEF) is working to change that.

What are we doing about it?

It’s Your Choice is a web-based program designed to introduce the fundamental elements of decision making directly to students on their own terms and on their own schedule. It also provides support for educators with online training and in-class activities. And, as a web-based program, it is designed for low cost, ease of adoption and universal availability.
