The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University reached out to share the course they built with DEF's Decision Skills Model integrated. They selected DEF's model and resources as the best after an extensive survey of materials and courses covering decision-making.

To validate the selection of the DEF model, the Institute assessed the effectiveness of this training using a range of measures that capture changes in affect, cognition, and pseudo-behaviors (intellectual humility). Their testing was rigorous and supported the claims that the DEF model has a positive impact over the comparators.

The Institute shared that the students taking the course are enthusiastic about DEF's model and expect it to play an important part in their future leadership roles and life in general.
