Helpful Frame 2

The third lesson in the Decision Education Foundation's curriculum, which emphasizes teaching students how to make better decisions rather than what to decide, focuses on the foundational concept of Helpful Frame, the first link in the decision-making chain. This 60-minute lesson engages students through a variety of interactive methods, including a brainstorming activity to spark interest, an educational video to deepen understanding, and a worksheet that combines independent and collaborative work to reinforce key concepts.

Helpful Frame 2 (this lesson) focuses on the HIP Check decision tool, while Helpful Frame 1 focuses on understanding Purpose, Perspective and Scope. Both elements are critical in understanding Helpful Frame.
