The Himalayan Decision

The first lesson in the Decision Education Foundation's curriculum, which emphasizes teaching students how to make better decisions rather than what to decide, is the Himalayan Decision. This 60-minute lesson immerses students in a real-life scenario, guiding them through a challenging decision faced by a group of students traveling from California to Nepal. Working through this lesson plan, students develop critical decision-making skills in the context of a complex and realistic situation.
The lesson plan includes links to two necessary videos as well as three accompanying worksheets.
